Crazy Paving

Irregular stone / paths / patios / pool surrounds

Finished grey bluestone crazy paving courtyard with tight joints, edged by timber decking and a garden bed.
How we build it
Crazy paving is natural stone fitted in an irregular pattern on a mortar bed. The pieces vary in size, so the joints do too. It still needs a compacted base, falls away from the house or pool, and edges that stop the first row moving. We lay it for paths, courtyards, patios and pool surrounds across South East Melbourne, and we cut it in against walls, pits and garden beds.
